I only have a few seconds before they get back…. I dont know where I am, beams of light pierce through the cracks of this makeshift cage, but I can’t make out any of my surroundings. A rotting smell , like sour flesh, holds thick in air, soaking in my brain. Am I the next addition to this horrible stench? Will I become a pile of something foul, settling into the warm Earth, dissolving into fumes of an agonizing reminder of a once free and wonderful life? I can already smell it happening…
